About our office

The head office of Agencia Nacional de Viagens is located in the center of Mindelo, on the island of São Vicente, enjoying a panoramic view and easy access to the bay of Porto Grande. The space where the ANV is located today belonged initially to English coal companies that settled in S. Vicente from 1838/39, which supplied the ships that docked in Porto Grande de S. Vicente. Among them we can highlight Casa Millers & Nephew, later Millers & Cory, then Cory Brothers/Millers & Cory, called “Millers office” and with their merger, Cory Brothers, which had established in Porto Grande since 1875. Subsequently, the building was transferred to the Companhia de S. Vicente, Cabo Verde, by Mr. Zangury, the first representative of Cory Brothers in S.Vicente.
